1. Information we handle

• Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser and device information, referral information, request time, pages or endpoints requested, response status, and security events.
• Messages and conversation context that you voluntarily submit to the AI concierge.
• Contact details, organization information, areas of interest, and messages you choose to submit through the website conversation form or your email provider.
• Cookie or similar technology data if analytics, security, preference, or performance technologies are enabled.

2. Information we do not currently request through the website

The current public website does not provide visitor accounts, payment checkout, financial transactions, or visitor file uploads. Do not send sensitive personal information through the AI concierge or ordinary email unless specifically requested through a secure process.

3. How we use information

• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
• Rate-limit abuse and protect systems from unauthorized activity.
• Generate AI concierge responses and maintain conversational context during the open browser session.
• Respond to support, media, business, and investor inquiries.
• Understand website performance and general audience engagement.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect rights and safety.

4. AI processing

Concierge messages and the conversation context supplied with them are transmitted to an OpenAI-compatible service provided through Replit AI Integrations to generate a response. Komakon does not currently save concierge transcripts in its own database or browser storage, but service providers may process or retain data under their own terms and security practices.

The website uses an IP address as a temporary in-memory rate-limit key. That rate-limit state is not written to the Komakon blog database and may disappear when the server restarts.

5. Service providers and external services

• Replit provides website hosting, deployment infrastructure, managed integrations, database infrastructure, and object storage services.
• Resend processes and delivers website conversation-form submissions to Komakon by email.
• OpenAI-compatible AI services process concierge prompts and help generate editorial content.
• Google Fonts supplies website fonts and may receive ordinary request information such as IP address and browser headers.
• Google News and industry publishers supply server-side research feeds for editorial content; this process does not send visitor chat messages.
• Your email provider processes information when you use a mail link, and social networks or other external sites process information when you follow an outbound link.

6. Cookies and analytics

The website may use essential technologies for security and operation and may use analytics technologies to understand traffic and performance. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or tracking, those technologies should be activated only after the required notice or consent.

Browser settings may allow you to restrict cookies. Blocking essential technologies can affect website operation.

7. Retention

Komakon retains information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, legal compliance, security, and dispute resolution. Conversation-form submissions are delivered to Komakon’s email system and are not written to the website database. Concierge messages are held in browser memory for the active session and are not intentionally stored in Komakon’s visitor database. Hosting, AI, email, and other providers may apply their own retention periods.

8. Security

Komakon uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the website. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Send requests to support@komakon.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required.

You can avoid AI processing by not using the concierge, avoid inquiry disclosure by not submitting the conversation form or sending an email, and avoid third-party link processing by not following external links.

10. Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and investor materials are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted personal information.

11. International visitors

Komakon is based in Illinois, United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.

12. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as services and legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@komakon.com.
